Hotel and Local Transport:
Black Art Production, in association with organizers on the ground propose you transport by bus with all necessary safety security measures from the airport to hotels corresponding to the "bed and breakfast" standards, situated 200 meter around the "New Africa Shrine" venue of the festival. The bus will be also available for our subscribers who will still have the energy having danced from 8 pm till 5 am in the morning, to make a tourist tour in the city of Lagos.
Security in Lagos:
Until now, the festival has taken place without any major incident in spite of the reputation of "danger zone" given by the Nigerian government. Contrary to the negative image of Nigeria by the embassies of the countries of the West as a dangerous tourist destination, we say as the old adage "experience is the best answer." In this sense, we invite you to live during a week of festivity and music an experience in the new temple of afrobeat in Lagos Nigeria. Lagos City like some parts of Los Angeles, Bronx, Brixton or any agglomeration world-wide can be considered safe if all the necessary precautions are respected. To this end without taking lightly security concerns, we in collaboration with organizers on the ground have chosen to provide our subscribers for this event secured bus rides.
Continental quality foods that conform to standards required internationally are available in all the hotels and also at the venue the New Africa Shrine at the charge of respective subscriber.
In conformity with the objective of the organizers of the festival, public entry is free for all concerts except the last day of the festival. To this end we are taking into charge the entry ticket for all our subscribers which are part of the fee we charge for the package.
To add colours to Felabration annual street carnival, we propose our subscribers the opportunity to participate in the street carnival with giant puppets (see our website Homage to Segun Damisa) accompanied by traditional dancers and heavy music from various talking drum family.
French and English speaking hosts and hostesses will be readily available to help in translations where there is need.
We promise you one exciting week of music and party, in the spirit of Fela’s: “my music is not for entertainment! My music is to spread a message!”
Register now! And don’t forget to pass the message!
